Javier Hernandez was widely criticised by West Ham fans after a woeful 45 minutes against Crystal Palace.
After two wins on the bounce, Hammers fans were hoping to celebrate a hat-trick of victories against their London rivals on Saturday afternoon.
Although James McArthur's early strike certainly dampened the atmosphere at the London Stadium, Hernandez did little to quell the restless east Londoners.
However, they should have been one up after the former Manchester United man was put clean through and scuffed his shot.
The Mexico international was quite simply not at the races for the Hammers from the first whistle; regularly being caught offside and giving the ball away.
His despondent body language left many Hammers fans begging boss Manuel Pellegrini to haul the 30-year-old off in place of Andy Carroll.
Check out what the incensed Irons fans had to say!
Hoping this is the last I ever, EVER see Perez & Hernandez start together for West Ham #WHUCRY β
